What's up with these stoves? Are they in kahoots with Hearthstone and Woodstock? Why don't they give that option here in the USA?

That looks good Todd. We used to have one of the little ovens for use on a Coleman camp stove and they worked pretty good. We've thought about possibly getting another one and just setting it on top of the stove. Do you think that might work?

Looks like mansfield legs, a heritage body, and a woodstock cat, and a blaze king thermostatic control.

How cool would it be to simply stack an oven on top of our stoves? I can hold 350 stove top temps easily.

Choice of soapstone colors, bake ovens, modern styling. Looks like a import business ready to happen. Or time for Hearthstone and Woodstock to get with it.

"If you still have a problem finding your dealer, please contact us by email-form.
In case your usual dealer does not know the Altech stoves and fireplaces, we can send your dealer all necessary information if you would like to buy an Altech product from there.
Please note that we cannot answer such requests for the U.S., because Altech stoves and fireplaces are not exported to the U.S as yet."

They have said here the castings for Hearthstone comes from Spain, and the stone from Brazil.

"possible to have their own family coat of arms, initials or a drawing sandblasted
onto the stove using a completely new technique."

These stoves show what a different market wants. The Europeans are getting some nice stoves.

In all those pictures on their site I don't see one chimney. Also, some of them are right on carpet or hardwood flooring.

I can't find the link or post, but quite awhile back someone posted a picture of a stove top oven. You would think it would be a popular option for wood stoves.

Backwood savage...my dh just found ours and I will be trying it out tonite. I will let you know how it works. I am cooking apple tarts on top of my stove right now...

Did you notice the stove with the wood stored underneath it?

If hearthstone made anything like that stove with the oven on top I would seriously look into it.

Those are beautiful stoves! Some look exactly like hearthstones, and the last looks exactly like a woodstock! The oval one looks a little like a morso. And the oven features, how cool. Gotta love that. Why in the world doesn't one of those companies offer the cookstove on top option? They would totally grab a big niche market!

I have one of those stove as does my father. Both of the Temp Gauges are off, but the stoves work. Kind of cool for easy stuff (pies, rolls, etc.) and MY FAVORITE shepherds pie, but I haven't tried anything harder in it. I will next year. I got mine from Walmart for 28 bucks ordered online and picked up at the store.

If I was building a house I would build it around one of these babys...

Have seen two in my area and they are fantastic. Very expensive and they weigh a freaking ton. You can get some with 2 ovens.
