Hello- looking to buy this used hearthstone woodstove. Can't find the model number and would like some opioions on value and reputation of this brand. Overall condition seems good. Anything to be concerned about with a hearthstone? Thanks

This page from the owner's manual will tell you which stove you have, based on the Height, width & depth.
With either one, you will have to examine the stones, inside & out for serious cracks or breakage. You will
also need to examine the inside cast frame. Many of them will warp over time & burning will be both dirty &
inefficient.

Hey jsaw- Looks like you've got a HS 2 there, very popular stove back in the 80's to early 90's. Parts are harder to come by today, but a lot are still out there. HS has a good rep, their soapstone stoves are a premium brand (and price). Good luck with her.

All the internal parts are still available from Woodman's Parts Plus. though they're kind of pricey. The II is an awesome heater!
