Hello

The shaver works fine but does not cut because the blades are as dull as molasses!

The prices of the replacement blades are all over the map!
It is the RQ11 shaver head
Walmart - $26.95 - blades in new head
Target - $39.95 - Blades in new head

Just blades $4.98 - Do these fit all models?

I would want Norelco brand only, and then just shop by price. They last for years, so a few dollars more or less doesn't matter all that much.
 
About a year ago I gave up and bought a new $50. razor, not much more than blades and as good a shave as the $100 razor I was trying to find $45.00 blades for.
 
Can't help you. Still using the Gillette double edge razor I was issued in Basic Training. In 1967.

I'm left handed, I would be working with a right handed razor and working backwards in a mirror... I can see an impending disaster about to happen.

I'll stick with my electric.
 
I use a DE razor made in the 30s. 100 Wilkinson Sword blades for $20. I change the blades long before they're dull.

Don't think razors are designed for right/left hand ... it's more a matter of dexterity and practice. Left handed Hubby gave up on electric shavers long ago after killing 3 of them. Still has his Gillette... My daughter's boyfriend had the set on his Christmas wish list ... razor, stand and brush.

BB, thought you were going to say you use a straight razor;lol One son swears they are an experience ... treated himself to one before his wedding!
 
Ummmm..a straight razor takes a pretty steady hand. Pre-wedding jitters could have been fatal ;lol

Went to the barber for that one! His wife is a keeper ... we've threatened him he's out if he screws up ... we're keeping her;lol

I switched to a couple of vintage Gillettes a while back. Much nicer feel and the blades are dirt cheap. I'm partial to the Feather brand.
