My wife alerted me to this nefarious act of hooliganism. I was pretty shocked by what I saw. I don't recall doing it myself so it must be a criminal act. Both dogs insist they have airtight alibis. They say they were someplace else.

Here's the crime scene...

The dogs say they didn't do it. Since they were under oath, I have to believe them. But here is some previous footage that might indicate they're guilty. ..

You be the judge.

Feel free to weigh-in.

Those dogs are protecting your wood from invaders. Mice, voles, evil chipmunks, squirrels, all sorts of invaders. The dogs are just doing their job!

I would be inclined to believe the dogs. You can always tell when a dog isn't telling the truth. You can see it in their face.

looks like your wife was making a heart to show you how much she loves you :)

I had a relative with a Saint Bernard, like many dogs it sat in the back yard a lot. It acquired the taste for firewood and would chew logs down to splinters. This was not one or two splits, this was cords..They had a small yard and it was just about impossible to keep the dog away from the wood. The same dog decided one day to jump on the top of cheap metal tool shed, it collapsed the roof in on itself.

Wow! I thought my mutts had a chewing compulsion... When they were all young, the sound of me snapping some kindling was like a dinner bell.

I got out to re-stack it today. If I owned a hard hat I'd have used it. She pulled every bit of two wheelbarrows out of that thing. And the splits were pulled out all the way to the bottom row! Why it didn't come down is beyond me.

As a crime of passion, I filed charges of second degree stackslaughter, and she plead down to involuntary stackslaughter.

After reviewing the case evidence and depositions from your two pits, my pit mix Sookie has agreed to defend your dogs in the case. She is presently drafting a cease and desist order of any and all repercussions on your part until trial.

She graduated from Cal Barkley, and will be defending them pro-bone-o of course.

:):):):) ^^Love this!

I expect Sookie to provide to provide a vigorous defense, but I hope to not be hounded by endless legal maneuvering that'll just have me chasing my tail. Under no circumstances will I roll over until justice is served!

I think you are barking up the wrong tree. And to paw through the legal maneuvers to doggedly go after the accused with evidence that has no meat on the bone??? It appears that you are ruffing them up for no reason.

Just classic;lol

I can send Sky and Bell over for investigation purposes to lend Sookie a paw or 2. No guaranty that the stacks will still be standing at the termination of the investigation. On a positive note there will be a lot of kindling available.

In the immortal words of Steppenwolf,

"Sookie, Sookie, Sookie, Sookie, Sookie, Sookie, SUE!! ;lol

I have chipmunks in my stack of wood. They probably think that they live rent free in skyscrapers. It drives my dog crazy but she is too small to do anything. I guess your dogs were trying to get those bastards.

I guess that means you have heartwood in your stacks.

Careful with those lawyered-up animals..it is a dog-eat-dog world as far as they are concerned.
But at least you caught the crimes early, and you will be able to nip it early. Hopefully they will not try to bite the hand that is feeding them.
You never know these days...
