I am looking for 32mm to 1 inch pex adapters for the logstor pipe I bought. I will need to adapt to the inch pex for inside the basement. Also need to go from 1 inch pex to 1 inch copper sweat for pump hookup behind owb.

Can you go from 32mm to MPT then FPT to 1" PEX?

I'm going to be in the same situation soon so I hope others have some real life solutions

Check the Mcmaster Carr Catalog for fittings and also Patriot Plumbing Supply

Are you sure you want to leave your circulator outdoors?
Is there a reason you cannot have the circulator in the basement?,

The circulator will be better protected in the basement from possible freezing and the
impeller housing breaking from expansion of the water in the housing due to
possible freezing damage.

I have run my pumps on my boiler for 5 seasons now, never had any issues. If the pump is at risk of freezing on the boiler I have other issues! I looked at those sites but they don't have anything. I am wondering if I can use this. http://www.pexuniverse.com/1-x-1-pex-al-pex-compression-mpt-adapter

Pex al pex 1 inch is 24.99 mm I'd and up or 32 mm is I'd 26.2 mm

Supply House dot com has a ton of stuff that might help you.

I agree on the supplyhouse.com. I checked on there and they have the 1" to copper sweat but I couldn't find the 32mm to 1" adapter. Good luck.

Yeah supply house com didn't have anything other than maybe the pex al pex fittings.

I'll look on the shelf. I think I have some. are you measuring the ID or OD? I have some for the ~1" stuff. if this is 1.25, I don't. if it's unpressurized, plenty of people use barbed fittings, and heat the Pex a bit first. Those fittings are expensive.

The ID of the pipe is 26.2 mm. The od is 32 mm. How much are we talking for "expensive"? Yes the owb is unpressurized. What would you use as a clamp with a barbed fitting(to mip or fip I assume)

Check with Patriot Plumbing Supply as they have PEX related items.

Logstor doesn't sell anything? Is the issue Logstor is metric and everything else is standard?

This makes me question if I should use logstor if it's this difficult to get fittings.

I haven't called logstor yet. I do have a local dealer. I figured I would look around and see if I could find the fittings for a good price. Sounds like they are going to be $25 each. Yes they are in mm which is the issue.

The I.D. if the PEX should match the O.D. of the fitting. Then with a .0625 wall thickness that leaves you with .875.

Just like a fitting for 1/2" PEX the I.D is .375

The only way you can avoid a smaller ID would through an expansion fitting, not even sure they make those that big.

Here is a push lock by Watts.

Again it meets 1" requirement but it has a sleeve to go inside the PEX to keep it from collapsing.

Yeah that is for 1 inch od pex and 1 inch od copper. The 32mm od pex has a id of .98 inches. Not sure if I am missing something that you are saying.

I'm working on the 1" copper to 1" PEX. Still working on the logstor 32mm. Look back to post #14.

Also need to go from 1 inch pex to 1 inch copper sweat for pump hookup behind owb.

I mean I'm working on finding parts options to help you out based on the information in your original post.

I'm interested in finding this stuff as well because I'm about ready to pull the trigger on some Logstor myself. If I can't find the parts I won't buy the logstor.

Maybe I missed something and you already have parts for the 1 " PEX to 1" copper......

1 inch pex to 1 inch copper is certainly no issue getting fittings. You can get up to 1 inch pex fittings right at lowes or hd. The issue is metric sized pex(logstor) to inch size pex. I will have to contact logstor rep I guess. I think the fittings are gonna be around 25 each!
