How or what do I need to make the blowers come on and off by themselves according to the temp of the room. Does not need to be precise just come on when colder and turn of when the room is warmer? Is it as simple as a line voltage thermostat? If so how does the single ploe switch know to turn on and off at the correct temp? I have been looking at a dayton et5s6s line volt thermostat online but I cannot see how it will turn both on and off by setting a temp between 50-90 f. Any one here know anything about this stuff that can offer me some guidance?

I think that Norther Tools sells an inline thermostat to be used on space heaters that would most likely work on your blowers. It is listed with the Propane heaters if I recall correctly.

If your are talking about the Kozy Heat the fan has a heat activated snap disc with it so no other controls are needed

Sounds like a good way to overfire a stove? I know that if I turn the blower off mine will jump fast? Mileage varies, value accordingly.
I decided to let the factory heat disc do the temp regulation, it does a fair job. As for the rest of the house I will let the AC unit pull the heat around by utilizing the fan only option on the control. That works ok as well. I have been pluging in a extension cord to the fan blowers but I am about to finish up the install and rock the face of the unit and side walls so I will put in a 120v switch to control the fans (if I ever needed to switch them off). I have found that when opening the door with the fans off I get less smoke pulled out of the unit. I know my wood is not seasoned correctly that is why I have the small amount of smoke I do. Maybe next year my wood will be drier.
