Hello Everyone,

Stove came with black pieces in doors instead of glass. I like to see the flame. Can I simply replace black pieces with glass. Do I need to do anything thing else. Any special gasket or anything? Appreciate the help.
Thank you

I used the same stove for many years, and loved it. The "glass" was an option when new, and wasn't cheap for two small pieces. It is not really glass, but a transparent ceramic that holds up to the heat. And it gets black pretty fast, as the Resolute has no airwash to keep it clean. Still preferred the windows. I think you can still get it. Please don't try regular glass!

Glass panels install using the same hardware as the iron panels. They're $32.00 ea. from Woodmans, and you should replace the 3/16" gasket at the same time. Easy really.
