Hi,

My cousin has a XXV and I told her about the hi/low switch on the back which I heard about here (thanks). Her unit has a noisy shield. How do you fix it? I need to explain this to her husband who is very handy.

Thanks,
Steve

Tell him. Pick up phone, call the local Harman Dealer and have it repaired under warranty. The buzzing is a known issue. Factory fix.
Involves a hose clamp around the comb blower.
Good luck.
