Notice the ad on kijiji (Canada's Craigslist), LacWood pellets in bulk bags. 2450 lbs/tote for $359 just outside of Thunder Bay, ON.

Too far away and just bought Spruce Pointes relatively locally.
Yeah, we have no convenient bulk deliver here either. But Spruce Pointes are one of my favorite pellets or at least last I knew they were very hot pellets and smell nice too. Also one of our more expensive options locally, though free delivery so you have to count that part I guess. Right now we have FSU, I don't know what we will buy here in a bit but if HD keeps these in stock I'd just as soon it was them. we had some last year, quite hot and reasonably clean too. $249 a ton in US dollars so far. We tend to pick those up, they want too much to deliver here.

Oil seems to be holding at about $1.90 US a gallon.

Spruce Pointes are $280 Cdn/ton with delivery. LaCretes were $6/bag but they are in Thunder Bay too. The other local supplier has similar pricing but were bringing in Indecks. Great if you want lots of ash for the lawn and garden :(

Alternativeheat, it might be worth giving this company a call, http://www.rienergysystems.com
They have just built a wood pellet silo in MA, using MA grant money.
They delivered 2.5 tons this week using a MESYS bulk delivery truck.
I wanted to top up my ~3.3t metal silo before it gets too cold and wet.
Hoping these will last until near the end of the heating season.
rienergysystems are based not far from me and a plus for me, they do not have a 3 ton minimum delivery amount like Sandri.
Very nice delivery, took ~20 mins, very little dust, $269 a ton delivered.
Not sure what pellets were delivered.

Depends I suppose.
Sandri were charging ~$40 less a ton for bulk delivery and as I was quite a distance away, $255 delivery. When a group got together and co-ordinated delivery it was $85 delivery. My silo was pretty much empty by then, I was contemplating buying some bagged pellets to tide me over.. So my delivered pellets prices from Sandri have been $249 to $289 a ton delivered.
The good side was, I liked the pellets, good per ton price, do not have to move around / empty bags. Down side, 3 ton minimum limit from Sandri (my silo is ~3.3t) needing careful planning, distance / delivery cost, a bit dusty during delivery.
I have had 2 deliveries from rienergysystems. The first they used a trailer setup with Maine pellets, dusty, small pellets, hard clinkers in stove. $259 delivered. The 2nd was with their bulk truck and was the quickest and best delivery I have had so far, pretty much dust free. They would deliver lesser amounts, $269 delivered.

Thanks for the heads up but much too far away ... over 4 hours from Thunder Bay; 17 hour drive through the US so likely a 20+ hour drive in Canada. Hearst, ON, where LacWood is located, is 9-1/2 hours.
