Help me understand how englander works,came with the house

Got a 08 englander stove that came with the house,they said it dont work right. Thats it.
We have a old lopi now, so not familiar with the double auger or safety switches.
I think the upper auger isnt working, but im not sure if it should work immediately on start up? And does it work while hopper door is open?
We know the upper motor works since we tested with power from other auger motor. Also tested switch by blowin in it. Right now im thinkin the air in the burn chamber isnt strong enough to make the switch go on. Maybe change gaskets, then move onto the exhaust blower.
But ive never seen this stove work so maybe theres sonethin else im overlooking. Any input greatly appreciated.

its model pdv. We did test both motors , with direct power - it turned. power leads to the motor tested ok.
the only way i could test the vacuum switch was to blow into it, the tubes are all in tact - and the auger does turn -when blown into. (and that was with the hopper door open)
Im curious though- how sensitive is this switch suppose to be ? is there another way to test it?
If I were to overide that switch - the stove would work.
also - the exhaust blower is running (but kinda noisy).

just for future reference, we replaced the switch and it worked. these switches are touchy.
also - this 08 model works with the hopper open, i even had a service tech at englander tell me it wouldnt , but not true. maybe some models have sensors on the hopper but in 08 they did not.
