then what? what kind of pipe after that?


Start up smoke i kind of normal but not a lot of smoke.

With that type of install you will get start up smoke. and smoke when the power in interrupted

I would go up with pipe on the outside
but if you dont
I would put in out side air.

Be sure to have ¼ inch per foot of rise in the horizontal run.

FYI the SUPER ingitor is nothing special
We do not sell them only Lennox direct parts.

On start up the Air in the pipe is COLD and heavy
this is why you need to be sure you have good rise in the pipe and proper draft.

I was also getting smoke in the room at startup. I replaced my gasket and that solved it.

My smoke was coming out just at the top of the door.

The inside of a pellet stove is a vacuum
the only way smoke will come out of the front of a stove is
if the Venting is Not enough draw
Blocked ash trap Exhast chambers
Blocked venting
not enough rise in the venting
Bad blower

what kinda shape is the door gasket in , and the window gasket. does the unit have a "missing gasket type" airwash? i agree with rod, usually an igniter stove will produce a faint whiff of smoke just as the unit ignites to a flame , then its gone , usually thats from the small clearance around the shaft opening for the exhaust blower fan but above the door means that you are not moving air swiftly enough , i'd think an ash blockage either in the exhaust path between the fire pot and the exhaust blower, or a blockage / restriction in the pipe. or possibly negative pressure in the house. to determine neg. pressure , open a door or window to outside about 5 minutes before lighting the unit, this allows time for inside pressure to equalize with outside pressure, then if the unit starts clean and doesnt smoke , add an "oak" if not , find the blockage and remove it

Our prices are high because they are the complete blowers and housing
with Fan blades and most of the time gaskets and wire connections with Molex connections adapters come with the kit that are Original Manufacture part OEM.

You can use after market parts and Build a blower but you dont get gaskets
some times you dont get a fan blade, and if you do they are not the correct pitch for the right air flow or volosity.
and some times they are not tested for the Heat rating needed

You can save money by building your own but 90% of the people dont have the tools, Time or knowledge to take apart a blower and rebuild.

Some of the older blowers that came on some stoves did not have the removable mount on the housing
they were one piece.
