Just going to fire up our new Thelin Parlour 3000 Monday. We're kind of limited here in our choices of pellets but I was fortunate to find a pallet of Clean Energy pellets at Lowe's in Virginia Beach for $262 for the ton! Any other comments on these pellets? I saw a note on them somewhere and remembered it as being positive! We're due for some 20+ degree nights coming up now!

I have only burned a few bags but didn't care that much for them. Right now I am burning Fireside Ultra pellets from Home Depot. I like them a lot better. Maybe it was just the batch of Clean energy that I got but they seemed to have to much dust in the bag for my liking. Could just be the way they were handled. 5 bags all the same.
Saw the product when I was at Lowes Syracuse, NY, but the price is higher than I usually pay ($225 for Dry Creek, 186 for Penningtons, 220 for Energex). Always try using a few bags first before purchasing a ton. I had the Parlor before, and there were many times when I bought in quantity before checking the quality. Three bags (after you clean the stove) should be a good indicator whether it is a good pellet. On mine - bad pellets used to fuse in the burn pot into a brick - one brand would do so within a couple of hours. If they drop in price I may try a few bags.
BTW - have you posted pics of your stove online yet? My wife and I both miss the look of the Parlor (Red with Nickel).

I undersized the area for heating(basement). As far as operation and reliability - hands down a GREAT stove. We also have a Quad Castile (first floor) and the Thelin was by far a more quality stove. We ended up bumping up to a 61kBTU Harman to heat our basement area - we both weren't crazy about the style, but the output was much higher. If we ever move into a more efficient home, the Thelin will be our first choice!
I tried the Clean Energy pellets from Lowes, as well as Green Team. I didn't like them. They didn't put out nearly the amount of heat that the Fireside Ultras or Barefoot Pellents do.
Fired up the Thelin Parlour 3000 just a couple of hours ago! Not very cold here today about 38, but it is putting out a very nice even heat on the Medium setting! Not too noisy at all but I know that will increase on High setting! We will try to post some pictures when we get the room straightened up. Kids love it!

I got 6 bags last week from lowes and they seemed to burn real good in my Englander,alot better than the Energex i had before that.Right now im trying some Fireside Ultras from home depot.Our Home depot has a sale of 187 for a ton.Seems they bought to many and they are in the garden center that they will be needing soon.They seems to be ok,a little dirty but for that price i think im gonna pick up a couple ton,maybe 3,i have enough room i can always store them inside the garage till next year.

Burned a bag of the Clean Energys yesterday and since I have nothing to compare it to, must say they seem to be OK! Let the stove go out today and vac'd out the fire pot, minimal ash and a very easy clean out! Stove runs very well on medium setting - when I turn it down to low for the night i get some soot on the window. Have been playing with the trim knob and I'm sure we'll get it dialed in soon! It has been pretty warm here past couple of days (38-39 at night)! I'll post further when it gets colder!

i picked up 5 bags just to try , seemed ok in my PDVC but though i didnt burn enough to really "critique" them , i felt they were adequate , but not spectacular. i'd buy em again if i couldnt get my hands on any of the hardwood heat (from TSC) or lignetics ( i get through work) they seem to work best for me of the brands ive burned here at home.
