Summers Heat

I have been running mine for a week. so far so good, you can't beat a deal like that. I paid the same form Lowe's. It heats nice, the quality is great. I got the same deal from Lowe's, best off I don't have the call the oil man.

I have had one of these for a couple of years. The heat output is pretty good. I have problems when it gets below -5 though. Next year I will have a bigger one. I have had some problems this year but the support from england stove works is awsome. They stand behind their products. I think these stoves are the best bang for your buck. There are allot of other manufactures most are good and most have more bells and wissles. The big question is can you repair this stove your self with help form tech support. If you are mechanically challenged you would be better off going to a good local dealer that is there to service your unit. But if you are handy and can tinker this could be the stove for you.

I bought and installed one this past September, bought from Lowes. The install was pretty easy, as far as installing the actual stove goes. The preparation for the install was a little more intense, as I had to build a hearth pad, remove and old gas insert, etc.

The stove has been pretty reliable. I had a couple of problems with it early on, but ESW was very responsive and helped me through my issues. That being said, I have had plenty of opportunity to work on this stove, and have found the parts to be very accessible and easy to work on.

I have found that, as with probably any stove manufacturer, regular maintenance is the key to reliability... Browse through some of the other threads on here for more info on that.

Wow - you found one? I have been looking in CT and NY and no luck...waiting for HD to drop their price...

Hey, for that price there is really nothing you can compare to it. As Englander says themselves "the working mans stoves"........and at 1/2 price, you won't even have to work as hard!

The major caveat is to install it correctly (see the stickies on this forum), AND also the part about being handy. You are unlikely to be able to get any service (in house) on these products.
