I have a Whitfield Advantage Plus, bought used but refurbed this year. Have about 1 ton thru it so far and do the weekly vacuunming which coinsists of removing burn pan, insuated brick behing and the metal deflector at the top. How far and how does one get to the blowers etc. Any info will be greatly appreciated

Some manuals show you how to remove and clean other parts of your. check there first.

If not, I would start with the conbustion blower ( exhaust fan ) with that off you can clean the pipe with a 3 or 4" pellet brush.
The convection blower( room fan) can be cleaned without taking it off the stove. When you need to oil the room fan, about every 6 months, you will need to remove from the stove.

With the plus the dont have to remove the firebrick
You want to Claen the ash traps by pulling the two round plugs at the bottom of the fire box and get a small hose on a vacuum and suck out the ash. MAKE SURE YOU PUT THEM BACK

It is a good idea to take the baffle below the heat exhange and clean and scrape out the heat exchange out as often as possible.

Once a year or more if you burn over 3 tons it is a good idea to pull the Combustion motor out of the houseing
Remove the 11/32 headed nuts from the flang and pull the blower out
Clean the Fan blade and clean out all the ash build up in the chambers behind the blower.

once a year pull the room air blower (convection) and blow out the dust bunnies.
Clean out all the dust bunnies from the area of the blowers and auger motor and clean any dust build up on the back side of the control board and limit switches.
