I have a Whitfield Advantage Plus. After 24 hours or so burn time my glass is dirty. It is not black soot it just seems like ash is sticking to it. When I clean it I can just vacuum it and most everything cleans off like that but still has a slight film on the glass that I clean off with stove top cleaner. I have replaced toe door gasket and that seemed to help some but I still get the ash hanging on the glass. I have adjusted the draft too all the way from soot on the glass to what I guess must be too much air cause I have to scrub the glass to get it clean. Any ideas on what I should try?It runs on low most of the time.
I have cleaned the air wash gap at the top of the glass too.

If it is not ash or a light gray build up
but it is sticky

Sounds like you need to give it more air and or do a full service on the stove and venting
Or you dont have it vented correctly from the start.
The the Yellow sticky post at the top of the pellet/corn room
this is the best link to start at

It is not sticky at all. It is vary dry and can be wiped off easy. It is kinda grey looking.
then your stove is working fine
you may have to Clean out the Air wash gap on the glass to be sure air is flowing through to keep the glass kind of clean

it is normal to get a Light gray or Brown haze on the glass
Bay window stoves are harder to keep clean because it is hard to keep the heat and air on the glass.

Thanks ......guess I will just keep cleaning it every day cause thats what I have. Sure do like seeing the fire through a clean glass though.

Running it on low most of the time is probably the culprit.
I get the same if I run it on low for a day. Kick it up a couple
of notches and your glass should stay clearer longer.
