Thomas,
Thanks also from me. I received mine on Thursday, used a 1/4 of one yesterday. Worked like a charm. What quantities can we order these in?

Thanks again,
Mark

Thanks Thomas Got mine today. Will have to wait till summer to try them as stove is running 24/7 now. But they look like a great product. Phil

I got mine and used a 1/4 of it to sttart a fire, worked great. For $.25 a fire it seems to be a bargain.

I sorta used mine.
I told my youngest son to add kindling to the fire and he saw the Super Cedars and chunked them in.
They blazed up pretty!
Thanks again!
I will have to purchase some to try them out for real next time.

Thanks a lot for the free samples. Works very well.

I received mine and finally got back into town to try them. They work GREAT. I used a quarter to start my fire, kept the other 3 pieces and gave the other puck to a friend. We're going to order 100 next week.. We camp a bunch as well and I bet these would be GREAT campfire starters, a whole one will probably start about anything burning.

we used them right away . we liked them a lot where can i buy on east coast????worked great ...thanks

Thanks so much! I got mine today and started a fire right away. It was really quick, even my husband should be able to start a fire with these! ;P

These things are awesome I recieved them today and had no problem starting wet kindling AAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++++++++

Got the free sample in the mail.. They worked great and I will definatly keep someonhand for the spring and fall. Thanks again
Mike

Anyone saved these from season to season? Do they "dry out" or otherwise fade in quality? I want to order the 100 pack for the camping season as well as the next heating season and save $$ but if its a waste of $$$ then I'll just wait or order smaller packages.

Got mine yesterday! Thank you very much, I'm going to try them out Sunday night on a dead cold stove.

Jason, The Super Cedar has a shelf life of more than 20 years. They do not dry out.

If these work, I'll be ordering. Sure beats splitting kindling.

Wondering how I missed this thread. I just ordered a box today based on recommendations on another thread. From all of these reviews it looks like I won't be disappointed and my money was well spent.

I received your free sampling today and gave it a go this eve. Simply wonderful. It made my setup from a cold start infinitely easier, and I was very pleased at how quickly I got up to speed with just three splits and sparse kindling. The icing on the cake was how evenly the firebox came alive. The three oak splits came alive evenly, the flames were just right, nice to look at as opposed to the prior smoke rolling around until 15-20 minutes later when the fire would start to even out. I could not do this with some other chips and wax pressed into some squares product. This was different, and muy more appealing.

This will totally change how I get going from a cold start, beginning with saving a lot of time with rummaging about for kindling, and the prep, and then the time to even heat. And it was simply a beautiful fire from the start to look at. The indication you will be creating the quarter cuts is a nice addition. Though I can see using a 1/2 or full 'puck' when one wants a visually pleasing as well as a fast start. I will be ordering. Well worth it, and well done. You have a winner here.

Thanks Thomas: tried half a one today, works great. Wish I had known about this product before I bought what you see in the picture below.

Just used my super cedars and they worked great. I started up my stove with half of one. Questions, if you buy a box of 100 do they all come individually wrapped? Anyone have a good place to store them? I imagine they will go up pretty quick if there is a fire in the house or something. Do they go bad if you have them sitting around for a year or so?

Thanks for all the info. and the free samples.

I broke my samples in half and have used 3 halves so far-- wow, they are great! So easy to get the fire going into a healthy blaze! Cuts down the time it takes me to get the fire going in the morning.

I'm saving the last half for a fire-starting 'emergency'. I'll be looking to order some for next season, thanks for the free samples!

Soxfan, they come individually wrapped. I juswt got my box of 100 a few days ago.. Just in time for the camping season. I think a campfire is about the only time you'ss ever need more than a 1/4 of each round to get a fire going..

I received my free samples today...they smell so good I don't want to burn them!

I imagine I'll be ordering a bunch before next winter...maybe even sooner as we have a wood cookstove in our mountain house and like to go camping too.
