getting ready to install my englander 13nc this weekend. it came with a pedestal and a set of legs. both me and the wife like the look of the stove with the legs on. is there a difference in the stove performance?. will the floor get hotter with the legs on vs the pedestal ?.
thanks...perry

I've been around both and cant think of any difference in performance. I'm not a pedestal fan myself. Looks to industrial.
I say go with what you like better.

there is no difference at all, its basically whichever look you prefer. only caviet to that is if you are in a mobile home , in which case you MUST use the pedistal as the legs do not meet code for mobile home installation

I have always been a leg man myself.

I've had both and believe me, it's much easier to clean the hearth with a small broom and dustpan if the stove has legs instead of a pedestal. I could never get behind the old stove that well...and with legs on my new stove, it's very easy to sweep under and behind the stove.

thankss....legs it is :)
