This is not about a particular brand of pellet; its about a particular retailer and the way they store their pellets no matter which brand. I buy my pellets 10 at a time, frankly because i have no room to store a ton. When you buy these bags individually, they are usually covered under their original pallet cover ... being pulled on and off as they are accessed. i have been getting bags that are clearly. Yes i do return them, and yes i get new bags. but i want to avoid the whole aggrevation. So my question is, does any one out there know where i can buy pellets from retailers who store their pellets better, like indoor or something better instead of in the open under a downpour. i am located near worcester MA . thank you. Please do not say that certain place in Oxford. thats where i've been getting damp pellets. Thank you again.

There are a couple places you can try depending on what brand you are looking for. Higgins Energy in Barre, The Stove Place in Shrewsbury, Enchanted Fyreside in Worc. or Home Depot / Lowes. You can also buy them at Klem's in Spencer.

Good luck

Tristan, Lunker's bait in Ashland stores their Barefoot Pellets inside. they are located right next to the Police Dept in Ashland.

You can also try www.pelletsdirect.com for prices.

I've had good luck with the Stove Place.

I know that certain place in Oxford ~ stay away!

The Stove Place (95 Hartford Tpke Shrewsbury, MA 01545 (508) 754-7091).
They keep them inside after the pallet has been opened.
I rarely get wet bags from them...and they always apologize and credit me the few times it has happened.
And they have a good selection of pellets available.
And no I don't work there.

www.pelletsdirect.com IS FROM THAT PERTICULAR STORE IN OXFORD. if you buy by the ton, and not indivual bags, I'm sure the bags aren;t wet because they remain in the shrink wrap. I buy my bags individually, yes, I have my reasons, and they leave those bags outdoors - sometimes not covered properly.
