Hey, I stepped on the scale the other day and I found out so far since November I lost over 10 pounds.
Normally over the Winter months I put on at least an extra 15 or so.

So I would like to introduce the new Wood Stove Plan.

First get yourself a wood stove that acts like a newborn (needs to be fed every few hours, and if you don't keep a close watch on it you are in for a stink)
Install it in a far corner of the basement (allot of cardio work running up and down the stairs every hour)
Then split the wood (use of maul is the more extreme workout) and is a great strength training
Stack the wood (bending exercises)
Haul the wood by hand, the more doors and flights of stairs you need to go through the better (build dexterity).

After your done grab a handful of pain killers and try not to move.

Hmmm.
I wonder if I could get some extra money by charging people to do the wood work.
Hey, you have to remember many people spend hours running on a treadmill.

LMFAO, that is great. I already have been following your plan it is fantastic. I am down to 170 and holding for months now the wood stove plan has worked for me I would encourage all of you to try it. the wood stove plan has also saved me thousands of dollers that I would have spent on oil this year to heat my home. Thank you wood stove plan, you have reduced my whight, increased my upper body strength and reduced my heating cost!!!!!!!

My problem this winter has been just too darned much snow to be out cutting more wood. Looks like I'll be pretty busy come Spring....if it ever gets here. It is cold out there!!! Snow is still deep too...and hard crusty. Tough to walk in for sure.

Yes , the wood stove extercise plan has sure worked for me !!!
My before photo's had i bothered to take one ,would have shown a 174 lb overwieght 60 yr old . But after being on the wood stove plan since the winter of 06/07, I am down to 153 lbs,
for a fantastic wieght loss of 21 lbs. I went from a size 40 to size 38 & heading for size 36
soon.

Wood stove in basement & tv room on second floor, seems all I do all day is climb stairs & split wood & lay fires. But, thats only when I'm not cooking ,cleaning & washing & paying bills.
Fun ?? Whats that, I'm too tired to do that. Too much of the above to have strength left 4 anything else.

Well, at least in the spring,I'll eventually get a break from laying fires & I can start cutting ,splitting, stacking and seasoning wood for next winter, instead. Oh Joy,what fun!!
I hardly have the strength to wait!!!

Good thing you don't have a 3 cu. ft. stove like the BALTIC, or a Summit for that matter, or you might be gaining weight (less splitting because the wood doesn't have to be as small, and fewer trips to the stove because of the longer burn times)

I've used the Wood Stove Plan and now sport a set of washbord abs. Thanks Wood Stove Plan..............
