Ditto! Congrats to Muss and Shooter as well....I've been going almost 3 months on my Quad and had only one small issue but nothing at all major. You live and learn with things.... Manual=BIBLE. lol Refer to it alot and on here just as much

I was reading my manual quite frequently. The Quad manual for my cb1200i is very helpful. Add to that the more than helpful tech line at the dealer here and you have a pleasant learning experience. My stove wouldnt kick on the convection fan so the tech walked me through the troubleshooting steps (which I'd done prior but wanted to satisfy him) he put me on the appointments list that same day....saturday. Great service and support.

And good forums with helpful people. Thumbs up.

Pics are coming today....I'm just enjoying this morning off.....toasty warm.

Hey thanx for kind words. Still have a few tweaks to do in the installation details but it's running great.....my wife is totally impressed. Should make for a good conversation piece when visitors come over. Still a fairly new concept to many in our area.

It took a little time for my wife to like our stove, but they all come around in the end.

Well, as long as you are the one doing all of the cleaning and all/most of the loading.

Yup, I'm the one for maintenance and cleaning. She's been asking loads of questions like she really wants to know what it takes to keep it running smoothly.

Tell ya what, no more wrestling matches under the thermostat....just let it burn and who cares how hot.

I AM the wife and I am the only one that takes care of the stove.

nice pic. Hey....on that insert does it give you much room to fill the hopper? Is it right there on the top front?

Well, trust me, if you had problems before fighting over the thermostat (let me guess, you paid the old fuel bill), you may still fight over how high the stove is set, however you may not worry about it as much.

My stove is set higher than I think it needs to be, but my wife is like an 80 year old woman from Florida visiting New England when it comes to temperature in the house. Personally, I'd like to turn the stove down at night and keep the house in the low to mid 60's, but if the temp upstairs drops below 68, I hear about it.

It's a top-feeder....really handy to get to but might be a prob for the first timers to fill while the glass is hot. You just have to have a good handle on the bag is all. The hopper on these Classic Bay's hold something like 70lbs, you can really stuff them full.

Congrats, I just put mine in myself yesterday. ran it all night last night, worked on the wall I put a too big of a hole in ooops today and I had to put the gold dress up kit on it. The factory did not tap the holes for the gold trim so I had too. I bought the St. Croix. Afton Bay model.
