We are getting a great education from this forum and would welcome advice and suggestions from people who have bought or know about wood pellet/biomass stoves regarding how to minimize the sound of the fan that goes with it. The room we will put our stove in is the main room in our house and the acoustics are slightly echo-y. Does anyone have a suggestion for a great stove that takes multiple fuel sources, has traditional wood stove styling and is quiet and peaceful in your living room?? We are leaning toward the Lopi Leyden for it's looks, features and for the fact that we can exhaust it from under a non-opening picture window, but are not sure about the loudness of it. Would welcome all responses!
