I haven't seen prices that low here in the northeast. And if prices do go down, I doubt they will go down by much. I would have bought at that price.

I think we made a good deal on those pellets with fuel (delivery) prices continuing to increase.

Awesome purchase! I would have done the same. Ditto on the NE...You just can't find prices like that around here.

I can get pellets for 158.00 ton here locally....but then this is michigan.

Yeah, get on the purchase of tonnage. If if prices go down, most likely they wont go down that much.

Ya done good JAW. I wish I hadn't read this thread. I paid $244/ton (including 8% tax) for two tons of Somerset Pellets from TSC. But considering that TSC has absolutely NO competition down here and stopped stocking pellets in their stores in late December, I'm very happy to have any pellets at all. I called the Somerset plant and they called TSC who put two tons on the next truck to my local TSC store. I would have paid full price but thy gave me 10% discount and now I don't have to worry about pellets for another year.

You have made a good deal.

I am selling pellets at $180 per ton with six tons or more, plus tax.

I am just north of Youngstown, Ohio.

You did good! Best I could do was $238.75 per ton delivered and I bought those. Northeast prices will never get to Midwest prices for some reason.

hey guys look at the post I just put up about pellets in central ohio. 3.50/bag isnt bad.
