Hi these are the specs for a power vent is there any way to tell how much the daily electricity use will be Using these numbers? Im debating power vent vs Stainless steel chimney. The cost of electricity here in maine is pretty high. Thanks Dan
Model swg-4hds

_VOLTS HZ__AMPS WATTS__RPM
115 _ 60_ 1.7 __ 138 __ 3000

The post kind of compreses the numbers

138 watts for 24 hr would put you at 3.3 kWh/day, or 102.6 kWh/month.

This is assuming that it's running at this rate 24/7

Hmm, don't know. A;; I can tell ya is I'm down to 6 bucks a month on electricity. At this rate PNM is gonna go bankrupt with customers like me................

It would not run 24 hours a day. I bet it would cost less than 5 bucks a month to run it.

I am leaning towards the the chimney. I thought the power vent runs when ever the stove in burning. Which would be 24-7 during the winter. I own a drafty 1900 farm house Its only 1100 sq ft but the doors really are bad Im hoping to update the doors and add insulation to the basement this summer> Thaks for your help Dan
