NICE! What did that set you back?

$600. Delivered. should have almost two years worth in the load. Now that I am caught up and will have seasoned wood I can collect it at my leisure. No more green wood if I can help it..

Immaculate woodception. PTL! Rick

Great looking load of wood.

Very nice indeed! About how many cord is it?

Thinking and hoping between five and eight. Will not know for sure until I get it bucked, split and stacked.

Noice. Looking at Craigslist locally- there are a lot of folks looking to buy a grapple load. Makes me think it's not as available- maybe it's all processed and sent south to the burbs here...

Its kinda hard to find it around here as well. But just so happens my girl is from the Mts of western PA and she got me a few contacts up that way. There are a few saw mills around that area. But getting them to think I was worthy enough to bring a load (with such demand) like that all this way is another story.

Looks like a lot of fun a head. I ordered a load of tree length approx same size last year . Got between 7-8 cord.

well thats good to hear..I kinda figured it would be around that but was not sure and didnt want to blow my horn so to speak too soon..

Firefighter, I like your pile of already split stuff. Got the boards, maybe an old broken down whiskey barrel, looks like some old elm, cherry, oak. Nice scrounged? stuff! That's a real wood pile!

A guy I work with is moving and he gave me all the wood he had left over from last year. It is 50/50 mix of cord wood and slab wood. The slab wood is on top of the pile because I hauled it last. Got exactly three overfull pickup loads out of it...

That's the goal all serious wood burners should work for... to work with the pressure off. Now you're not behind the 8 ball trying to scramble at the last minute...or killing yourself all day on your only available day off.
