Looking for any reviews on these models.I have been told these are the same units.Anyone have any input to how well these units operate.I have a 1500sqft ranch home in Wisconsin.I am removing the original superior fireplace (only there for looks) and want to install a HighEfficient Fireplace. The dealers near me carry the Lennox line and Osburn line. Was told the Lennox line works well.Osburn line has no complaints.Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you are set. My brother and I installed his Lennox in his 1600 square ft belinski home, heats it no problem. He does not even have it piped with seperate vents. He is in Jackson WI and gets a lot of wind and it burns flawlessly. House is tight though just bilt 3 years ago. He went 6 months and warped the builder special and went to the lennox. I think his is 55000btus to give you an idea. He has the single door model. One thing, Lennox was terrible to get the blower from, it took 3 months, he ended up buying a blower at menards and returning it when his came in. The menards one quit after a month of use.

Hi, Wi bob-

Been looking at that same stove, seems very nice at a very good price. Here in NE WI local dealer has a price of around 2200 which I believe includes the blower, with the standard black door. Dealer has had very good luck with this model. I'm trying to retro fit my hearth. Tear out a NG fireplace and put in a zc fireplace. This model should fit my brick surround and my budget. Install man is coming over friday morning to give me a quote. I'm really hoping I can fit the panorama in. I really like the looks of the BIS or Lennox stoves. Good luck.

I have the BIS Ultra and would recommend it to anyone. It will heat our open floor plan house of 2100 sq ft in the winter. Very new house that is well insulated. But it does get plenty cold here in oil country during the winter. To be fair, this is the first wood burning fireplace i have owned so no comparison to others. But i sure like it.
