Feeling the Heat

I have 2 tons on order from Pellets2u.com, but they can't tell me when I'll be getting them. I'm looking to buy a half ton or ton to have on hand just incase they don't deliver in time for the cold season. Everyone I've called is either sold out or all their current inventory is spoken for. Does anyone know of any stores who have them in stock in the Hudson Valley area? I live in Staatsburg, work in Red Hook, and often visit southern dutchess county, so I'm willing to really travel anywhere in dutchess county, ulster county, or columbia county to get some. Thanks.

Well, let's see. There's Country Stoves in Red Hook just north of Greigs Farms, as the season draws closer Lowes and Home Depot will carry them, there's a place in Hudson I believe called Angelas, I also believe that Agway in Red Hook will or does currently carry them. I live in Greene County and Have a go to guy so I'm pretty set. Oh yeah, Tractor Supply in Hudson carries them as well.

Country stoves is holding theirs for their customers which is nice. I'm on the list with Agway in red hook and Ashleigh's heart and home in hyde park (which is where I bought my stove this year). I'll have to call tractor supply tomorrow. I believe the Agway in Lagrange is supposed to get a truck load in tomorrow. We'll see. Thanks.

I'm in Schoharie County, and our local Agway effectively screwed their customers this year by quietly not sending out
their annual pellet pre-order flyer. By the time I realized it wasn't coming, they had sold out of everything.
I can get pellets here at other places, but they are low quality (Boreal). The best they could do was get me on the
waiting list for Barefoot, which is what I bought last year.

Gunner-1, I'd be willing to travel down to Green County if you have any suggestions.

Thanks!

Yeah I've been calling my dealer weekly since May and they said they werent taking a list. I call today, and of course, they just got a delivery and they're all spoken for because of..........yep you guessed it...........the list they had going. Needless to say I was pretty pissed. I told her I had been calling weekly and was told they weren't doing a list. Well, I'm on it now.

Agway in Lagrange on rt. 82 Got 28 tons in at 8am this morning. I called at 9:30 and he was pretty much sold out. He had enough to hold one ton for me. I prepaid with my Visa and will be picking it up later. That should hold me till I get my other 2 tons from pellets2u.com. I feel a bit safer.
