its crunch time....quads prices are going uptomorrow 8/1. i have a quote for the quad installed w/oak $3530
and the regency $3400
i am hoping to hear from a few who have these stoves
the regency has a 55 lb hopper quad 40
warranties are comparable
one major difference is the installer
the quad guy was great returned calls answered questions
the regency guy jerked me off for two weeks getting me the price and didnt return calls
so i am leaning towards the quad

but i would like to know in your opinion, dealers etc being equal......what stove would you get and why

If the Regency guy won't call you back in order to get your money, do you think he will call you back after he has your money and you call him with a question or problem???I looked at several different stoves and bought a Regency, but much of my decision was based on my experience at the shops and the attitude of the salesperson.

exaclty what i was thinking, i thought maybe there was another beneift to the stove itself that might convince me to go with the regencey, i just found out the quad is 3981 installed a little higher than i thought

here's my take,

quad sante fe, won the vesta award in 2006 i think or 07 either way , you dont get a vesta from HPBA for anything average.

versus the dealer who jerked you around (no offense to the regency stove line , but im jumping all over the quad if its between those two units

just put my deposit on the quad yesterday
than you
