Englander stove Information

Hi erichris,

For starters, Welcome to the Fourm! I'm not an offical greeter but I notice this is your first post and this forum has helped me quite a bit to say the least.

1) As far as the ashes go - I only empty mine about once a week more or less, but then that too depends on how much is being burned. Typically though when I add a bag, I move the ash that is built up in the fire pot to the sides, then every couple of days or so I'll scoop the ash out that's on the sides with a modified kitchen spoon to keep it from being built up too much between my weekly / bi-weekly cleanings... So it is not a pain, just take a couple of extra seconds. My guess even with an ash pan one would still have to clean it thoroughly once a week or so anyways.

2) Yes there seems to be a couple of new models as I noticed one was listed on HD's site, and I would be interested in the specs as well... but I think the Stoveguy from Englander will answer that one for you.

As far as I am concerned and what has been my experience with Englander - Best support that I have ever came across!

still working on the website pages for the new 25-EP series, they will be up very soon im told by our IT department. i have posted pictures of the unit in other threads i have had to switch computers recently and im not certain i can get to the pictures to post them again , if i can dig em outta photobucket i'll post a couple.

thanks BB, saved me some work. i have several on my other puter , its in the shop and im back to my old dell for a bit , just dont have em loaded in it

looks like october for production and shipment of this unit guys.

i was looking at coal/wood stoves, but i do not know what to get. vermont casting stoves that are cast iron they are good coal /wood stoves. also the englander, 50-shw35or, 28-3500 i would like to know what kind of steel and size or gage, or is it cast iron. you know the full specations of this stove. can you burn coal and wood too. and what is the best coal/wood stove for the money thanks. if anyone knows
