I think that is for the entire code and not just section 211. 221 is like $38, but the whole shooting match is over $1300!

If you're talking about "listed" as in a listed woodstove, that's not what NFPA 211 is about. It's a publication (one of many) put out by the National Fire Protection Association, and the title of 211 is "Standard for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents, and Solid Fuel-Burning Appliances". Most recently published in 2006. I have a copy on the desk in front of me in case you'd like to know more about it. It's not a tome, more like the size & heft of a catalog from L.L. Bean. It is, appropriately, bright red in color. Rick

Rick, if you put up a sheet metal shield with a 1" airspace and non-combustible spacers, you'll be able to slide that booklet 12" closer to the stove.
