Picked up some free sourwood today. It was about half a ranger bed load. Any one put the flame to it before? Burn good?

Thanx Pine. Yea there does seem to be an abundance of the stuff around here.

Sourwood, or oil? Rick

Hey if you already picked it up just burn it anyway...most of us heat our homes with a variety of wood anyway...it's all good for something.

Didn't know what it was called. It takes a long time to dry and doesn't burn as well as oak but if you throw it in with other wood when the fire is nice and hot it will burn just fine.

Never herd of it until now.
