Hi everyone.

I live on Eastern Long Island. I am looking to buy a woodburning insert. My house is a 1500 sq ft ranch. I have a 1.5 ft raised hearth, brick fireplace.

I ruled ot the Vermont Casing inserts mostly because of the warranty. I'm looking at the Hampton HI 300. I am open to any suggestions. I really want a well made

insert that will last. I'm not looking to heat the house 24/7, but definetly to cut down on the evil oil.

Thanks in advance. :cheese:

Jotul kennebec 450 is a good choice for that square footage. I am going on two years with mine now - it's a work of art and works very well.
