Thinking about having a new double flue cement chimney built. The chimney will be interior going up the center of my two story and basement house. Looks like I have about 3 choices of liner material, stainless steel, clay, or refractory liner. What would be the best for wood burning? the other flue would be for the oil fired boiler.

Is this for a woodstove or fireplace?

Woodstove

Why have a Masonry chimney built at all? Just go pre-fab SS, and use whatever the code calls for for your inside piping...
