I'm going to replace the door seal and it seems to me the easiest way is to remove the door. Looks pretty simple. Just lift the door up and the pins will slide through the bottom hinge and out to the shop I go. Door moves up approx. 3/8 of an inch and stops. Hinge pins do not extend to the bottom of the lower hinge, so i can't tell if they are peened over . Question: Is there some secert to removing the door? Owners manual is mum on this.

Duh, found it. There is a cut out for the top hinge on the door. You have to remove the top pin, then pull the door up. In my own defense it is very dim in the corner where the stove is and i have photo sensitive glasses and my eyesight has never been very good.
