thinking of buying a country pellet stove winslow model insert, anyone have an insight to this mfg and are they a good stove?

I have had the stove model for a year now with no problems. If you are going to burn corn in it the ignighter really isn't up to lighting anything over maybe 25% corn. It just doesn't get hot enough to light it. I have mine on a thermostat and let run automatically as needed to heat an area of the house that doesn't circulate heat from my bigger corn stove. They are very quiet, easy to clean and put out good heat for a pellet stove.

I have sold whitfield pellet stoves for several years now, and have been a die hard whitfield fan. When Lennox bought Country Stoves and started selling the Winslow, I was a bit skeptical but after seeing them burn, and installing a few, I really like them. They have one of the best (if not the best) airwash in the industry. Very nice fire, and pretty reliable stove. For the service person, they have a self-diagnosing control board. We can roll up and plug in the diag reader, it will tell us what is going on with the stove, which means less guessing on those "hypochondriac" stoves.
Lennox has really stepped up their game in the past year, they were falling behind, I've seen them really bend over backward to help out their customers lately

thanks for your reply, i originally was looking to get a harman insert, but they seem to be very hard to get here in ct. looked at breckwell,quadra fire and country, the country seems like a nice stove, produced plenty of heat at store and seemed to be constructed well. thanks again for your reply. - ken
