I ordered 3 tons of Barefoot Premium on June 15th and was promised delivery in September. This was my first-ever pellet order and after 3 months of crossed fingers, they delivered exactly what I ordered this morning. He drove his lift down behind my house near the entrance to my garage. I've covered them with a tarp for now, but will move them into my garage this weekend.

For anyone who wants to know, the exact measurements of each pallet is:

48" wide x 40"deep x 44" high

Now I'll sign up for the early-bird spring purchase.

I have not purchased from them myself, but they do seem to
have a good reputation around here.

I purchased a trailer load from them in April, and they delivered as promised. I will be buying from them again next year.

I'm 53 years young so I figured rather than ask my neighbor to put the pellets into my garage with a lift, I'd do it myself. After less than 2 hours and some sweat, they are now nestled inside and ready for winter.

I have to say that not one single bag was wet, torn or not even scratched and not one single pellet lost, bone dry and in absolutely perfect condition. Each bag was more than strong enough and each pallet/ton was covered with a thick yellow waterproof plastic cover then shrink wrapped well. So I had a great experience with PelletsDirect.com and will definately buy from them again.

I move 4 tons by hand and there is NO WAY my bags are that neatly stacked when I'm done. Don't tell OSHA. Glad to hear of your good experience with PelletsDirect

I am happy to see pellets direct delived to some of it's customers. I was notified my e-mail today that my order will not be filled due to a manufacturer shortage.
I ordered 8 tons for August, and 9 tons for October. This was to be devided between 4 families. I placed our order and paid for it in June. Now I'm not only out the pellets, but I have paid interest on the pellets I won't even recieve. I found out around 5pm tonight and now have to scramble to find pellets. This is especially disheartning since I did lots of research and placed my order in the early summer.

awesome job there shortstuff. mind if i ask what your delivered price was and what they are quoting you for an early bird price?
thanks and good luck with the barefoots.

I don't think the factory even does as good a job stacking as that....amazing!! Well done! Now that I've complimented you, care to come stack mine?????

Stacking charges apply!

When I ordered the pellets in June they were $244.00 per ton plus a $60.00 delivery fee. Shortly after that, they went up to $269.00 per ton. I haven't placed my early bird order yet, but intend to very soon.

I know most of you guys are from the new england area, but down here in Pa, My father just recv'd a price of 175 a ton for pellets, which is about $30 lower than everyone else. I don't know what brand but the P68 burns anything. so far that is.

The guys shop is called Stoltz stoves. in Berwick,Pa.

A couple other guys have Barefoot & Allegehny pellets. All are around the 220 mark.

I just re-checked their website and Barefoot Premium Hardwood pellets are now $299.00 per ton.

Wow...

I've used PelletsDirect.com for 4 years and they've always been reliable. yes, My pellets which were ordered in April were just delivered yesterday, but that's the manufacturer, not PelletsDirect fault.

Use their "EarlyBuy" program and buy them in April, you go to the top of the list that way.

Do they auctally use a hand pallet truck to take the skids off of the truck? Was just wondering if they did why they couldn't put they in the garage for you. When mine were delivered as long as I had a piece of plywood down for them to run the pellet truck on they would put the pellets right into the garage for me. They aslo carry a couple of peices of plywood if needed. I put up one of them portable garages made of that cheap tarp material. Was suppose to be there between 8:00 and 8:30am. I was in bed listening to the news and thought I heard something about 7:15, looked out and they were there already. Took me a couple of minutes to get dressed, go outside and the guy already had the 3 ton in the garage right where I wanted them and the garage zippered up again. Great service, good price, free delivery.
Name of the Company is Fergusons Eneregy Systems. They are in Eastern Ontario and I would recommend them to anybody that happen to be in the lower Ottawa valley area.

terryjd98, they arrived on an open flatbed truck, perhaps a 10 ton unit. The forklift was parked on the tail-end of the truck, like the ones that Home Depot uses on their large open trucks to deliver goods.

I ordered 4 tons of Barefoot in July for a December delivery. I had to contact them during the last week of December and they said that they had problems getting Barefoot and asked if I would be willing to take Envi Ridge, same ash/btu rating instead. They absorbed the price difference $269 v.s. $335. They deliverd the prodcut and were very professional. I wish they had a subscription program. Having 4 ton's in my garage takes up alot of room.
