Vermont Castings replacement parts

Does anyone out there know where to obtain any aftermarket replacement parts? I sold my neighbor my old VC Defiant Encore and he needs to replace the refractory box that holds the catalyst. The replacement parts from the dealer are obscenely priced considering the turmoil the VC is currently going through. Any leads / ideas out there ?

I am buying parts for an old Vermont Castings (Costings) Intrepid. Our local shop doesn't seem to answer the phone anymore, but the folks at this one picked up on the first ring: http://www.blackswanhome.com/ You can search for parts on their site.

Thanks for the replies. We have a very good local VC dealer in our area that can obtain the parts, but as I had mentioned in my original post - the prices are obscene. $300+ for the refractory box, $300+ for the Cat.
