WeLl is this true??

Hey Rich, I hear that the Home depot stores have plenty of Englander Stoves left in stock.

You can also get England from DoItBest hardware--if you have a local dealer who participates, you can order online from them and they'll ship free to your local store. (You can tell I don't live in the immediate vicinity of the traditional big box stores.)

Yeah, my local Lowe's was out of the stoves (30-NC)but a Home Depot a little drive away had them in stock (just had to pay $120 delivery fee which was worth me having to get pick it up so to me $120 was a bargain).

so are they stopping production? the guy at lowes told me they r selling 20-30 pellet stoves week

The salesman I talked to at Lowe's didn't say they were stopping production of the wood stoves, but did look something up and didn't have an expected delivery date for additional wood stoves which is why I started looking elsewhere (i.e. Home Depot)

No, no no. We are not stopping production of any stoves, we will be filling orders for stoves in as timely a fashion as possible, but believe me we are building every stove in our current model line.

This rumor of Englander stove company stopping work on their line of stoves is a bit troubling to me. Will they go the way of Vermont Castings? Will their warranties be void...This news comes on the heels of one of Englanders prime representatives showing off a new secret model stove or furnance...with no details... Well good for you englander , but what about us ,the people who have had faith in your company and helped you to grow?I just hope we don't get left out in the cold like the Vermont castings people were. Reassure us Mike Holten and Corie P. Tell us that our warranties are still intact and not to worry... This seems to be an age for worry as corporations lay off employees who have worked decades at the same company.... Tell us the truth...We like your product, but abhor your secrecy... This is very bad news coming on the heels of Vermont Castings take over and not covering promised warrantees. We Englander Stove owners need some reassurance now.

Seems like a pretty extreme reaction to something that was said by a guy working at a Lowes store. Glad he didn't say anything about Wall Street.

"Halted Production" is probably just slang for "building pellet stoves like crazy because the demand is bigger"......

I don't think there is any impetus for the company to run around disputing what some guy in Lowes said, but you got it anyway! When the source is a bit higher up the pike, then maybe you can demand a statement.....although we never got one from VC even to this day - or Harman (when they were going out).

I certainly would not worry - Englander is probably making more $$ than they know what to do with.

Outsource to the local High School metal shops. I was a pretty decent welder back then. %-P Rick

And yes, 2 shifts, 6 days a week is accurate. We could not possibly be working any harder.
Well, actually you could be working 3 shifts, 7 days a week. Many places do.

Dude: Sunday is a day of rest....and NASCAR :)
