I went out looking at carts, found one at Orvis, one at Cabelas, and then found the best price at LL Bean. They're conveniently up the road a bit, so I'm happy to recommend them.
Go to their site and search for Log Cart. I think I'll do some shopping today.

For me - I bought two hammered steel log racks from enclume. I have one on the right of the fireplace with a tool set and the one on the left is just a rack.

funny thing-- LL Bean sold this a couple yeasr ago, the wife and I rellay liked the look of it. but it was pricey( couple hundred dollars...) anyway- I saw the same one in harborfreight a year after that for like 45$- and I bought one.. it is thta exact unit...

I have not seen it on the harborfreight site since.. I wonder if it was overstock or what... I wish I ahve bought 2 of them...

anyway- I got a great deal :) I always love a deal

I know one of my favorites would be a coal rake, if I could find one. Not a ash rake. A coal rake leaves the coals but gathers the ash. I did find one on the net, but now I can't remember why I didn't get it. The shovel with holes I have heard isn't the greatest idea.
