Big Dilemma - should I get the Lopi??

Last year, I bought a Quad Mt Vernon from a local dealer, and it was a disaster. On top of the bad customer service, The Mt Vernon was full of badness. Just when I was at my wit's end, the previous owner of the dealership (who returned to help with the bad customer service) saved the day by making up for the bad service and bad product. So, I now have 2 quad CB1200 i that I have been very happy with, and because of that, went to purchase a freestanding Santa Fe. Ordered it, paid for it, but after reconsidering its location, called and spoke to the dealer, and requested he return for a quick visit to ensure the clearances were appropriate as I elected to vent via the outside wall. He never showed up, and never returned our calls for 1.5 weeks. Finally, he calls the day before the scheduled install, and says "it should be ok"!. Then, he calls the day of install, cancels due to the rain, but said he would stop by and check clearances to ensure all would work well. He never showed up, and he wouldn't answer the phone. I am done with this guy. Now, right down the street is the NEW location of a local dealer who sells Lopi stoves - local dealer for 10 plus years with great reputation. I went to see his selection, and really liked the Lopi Pioneer. It would fit perfectly in the basement. I am hesitant to buy another brand as I have had good luck with the Quads, and I would like to have all stoves the same as it would make it easier for service calls - one dealer vs two. However, the customer service for the Quad dealer is the worse. Suggestions?

By the way, has anyone had any issues with a Lopi?

Are there any members who have different makes of stoves in their house, or do you try to stay with one manufacturer?

Total sf for my home is about 4800. It has a basement which is partially finished (playroom for kids, laundry room, TV room), a main floor , and an upstairs. the 2 inserts keep the main and top floor very comfortable, but the basement really gets quite chilled in the area that "walks out" (has windows). Since my goal is to have heat without having to use the darn all electric furnace, the pellet stove seems the most reasonable option. I just wish my Quad dealer would provide better service or it would be a no brainer. However, I really like the Lopi. The leydon is nice, although a bit big for where i would like to place the stove (too deep), but the pioneer would fit in the space nicely.

A valid point - I do like the Lopi, and probably would not have even stopped by to consider it had it not been for the lousy service at the Quad dealership. Quad is all I have owned during my short tenure as a pellet stove owner, so not much experience with other brands to 'compare".
