"Cory Davis told the Peninsula Daily News she had just stoked her cast-iron heating stove Sunday when she heard a loud bang and was struck in her left calf."

Yeah, happens all the time. Kevlar stoker chaps are the safest way to load......

Are you sure that wasnt Dick Chenys wood stove. Did she find it on a moving sale on Craigs list? He does have to vacate by the end of the year.

I can't remember how many times I've had to say to my stoves, "Don't put that in your mouth...you don't know where it's going!". :ahhh: Rick

I dont get it

Here is the story.

A woman said she was shot in the leg by her stove. Cory Davis told the Peninsula Daily News she had just stoked her cast-iron heating stove Sunday when she heard a loud bang and was struck in her left calf.

Davis said a case of shotgun shells spilled about a month ago at her home and one must have landed in the newspapers she used to light the stove.

What is not to get. This happens all the time.

If you're gonna shoot...SHOOT, don't talk.
