I have tried all the methods in a 1000 posts for cleaning stove glass...and what works best is a single edge blade in a holder. And those new blades are only good for 4 0r 5 cleanings, then they must be replaced with a new blade....any residue can be cleaned with GoJo and a paper towel and some windex on a rag. The razor treatment requires a lot less elbow grease than any other method....Forget the steel wool and the other suggested methods...Go for the single edge blade in a holder and then maybe some Gojo and windex....Most of that stove glass is pyro-ceramIII and doesn't warrant easy care...It is usually a $60 replacement fee, so don't waste your time. Plus a single crack is no reason to stop running your stove as normal...Just run your stove normally until the replacement arrives. When my stove glass breaks because of scraping with a razor I will be the first to announce it on this forum
