Anyone know what the factory presets should be on the front panel? Ptimary pump runs continous and and other circulator doesn't atart at all. Does this boiler need more than 1 aquastat installed?? My fan seems to only speed up when I lower the setting below the boiler temperature and then bring it back up to 160. I think I really need help.

Call Hank at 1 866 940 2876 or 716 792 2094 Did you play with the up donw arrow on the left hand side of the control? If you did ,the factory will have to walk you through the settings. Also check your
wiring at the rear junction box. There are 2 circulators one is to be piped between the the supply and the return of the boiler and will run until the internal boiler temp reaches 140 plus or minus. The second one is supplied by you and will not come on until the other one has gone off, this one will now circulate the water to you oil fired unit,
If you need more info please post or call Hank Now he might anser the phone as it is implanted in to right ear 7/24's

Please describe your "primary" pump. Where is it located in your piping? Are you talking about the pump that came with the boiler? What wire did you connect it to in the junction box on the back of the boiler? What setpoint do you have the boiler dialed in for?

My primary pump is the 1 that should come on at 150 which circulates between the oil and wood boilers. We thought of it being wired backwards but the other 1 on the back of the wood boiler doesn't come on at all even after I get the boiler up past 150.

You may have wired it wrong, the circulator between the supply and return on the 150 boiler runs from the moment the power-switch is energized till the temp rise to 150f and than the circulator between the 150 and oil boiler comes on ,and will remain running till the temp fall below the set point of 150f, at which time the other circulator restarts again in order to keep the water temp equalized throughout the boiler water shell . On the back of the boiler there is a junction box take a look at the wiring diagram

We've already checked this out and no go. The electrician followed the wires and they are hooked up properly as per the diagrams.

I'm with you on this one. I had the same problem. I cheated and put a plug on the primary pump and it runs 24/7. The circulator pump runs continuously as long as the boiler is on. I too verified my wiring with the manual and with Dale @ Econoburn. I'm wasting electricity, but hope to square everything away next year when I can come up with more money. After talking with Dale though, I did have to reroute a couple of wires as my unit was about a year old and I bought it used. It's running well, but I'm sure there is a ton of things I could improve.

I did find a missing neutral wire on the relays .From A1 on the pump to the sixth hole on the block in side the top of the unit. When the boiler reaches about 135 the primary pump starts and the closed loop pump shuts off. It cost me alot of money to have a technician in twice for this. The manual is really inadequate . The diagrams are quite vague .
