chainsaw

bought a new stihl cahainsaw its a ms 250 with easy start and quick chain ajust and a 18 in bar. Sold all my old chainsaws 5 in all to pay for my new one.

That is real funny because just last night I was telling my lady friend that they had to keep my saw over night to fix a little something and how I did not want to leave it. I also told her I have been keeping it on the iland in the kitchen on a towel.

does any have a ms310 stihl chainsaw

I am locked in at 209 first 800 gallons and then 229 propane that is. I got my chainsaw from sun valley on m36 just out side of hamburg

I have cut a lot of fire wood so far this year I am out every day eather splitting or cutting but this is my first year to do it and mean it. I have cut about 15 face cord so far I think. I am learning more and more as i cut every day . I like the ms250 mine is the easy start and easy ajust chain and I bought an extra chain at half price they only would let me my one esxra chain at half price. Most people buy the 290 farm boss but if you stetp up to the 310 It has a bigger chain and the chaines cost a lot lesst(because the links are bigger) and they sell my the link. and you can go up to a 25in bar I think for extra money. I did have 7 old chain saws of different makes and was always working or ajusting them in some way and they all had different chains. Only 5 were gas and all ran one is a eletric and one another being the 7th did nto run. I put an add in the paper (chain saws for sale all run in vgc 75 $ or less.) My goal is to have one realy good saw then maybe buy a small stihl next maybe ms180 and later buy a 310 or bigger but the ms250 makes me be very happy and i can do all I want with it. The chains last longer than the oregon chains I think. I have a power Chain sharpner but so far with my new stihl I am hand sharping it. The proper name for new shainsaw is a ms250 c with easy start and 18 in bar price $369 one extra chain half price $12.85 total $406.78. I sold 5 of my old chainsaws and every one made out. I did not dicker on the price because they all ran had oregon self ajust bars and were in good shape. My end goal is to have the right chain saw for my needs and keep them for the rest of my life. the ms 310 starts out at $399 goes up from there depends what bar you get. I build fence for 30 years and had a karate school for 27 years and my elbows and shoulders are are not is the best shape that iswhy I got the ms250 with easy start. The reason I sold my old saws Is I was doing to much cranking and not enough cutting. If I get the ms 180 stihl It will be because lightneww of the saw (use for small things) If i get the 310 it will be out of vainity and also I can cut bigger trees. but the 250 does every I need to do. You can not get the easy start with the 290 and I am not sure about the quick ajust chain but I think not I might be wrong about that so check it out on stihl website or under a full time dealer website that will also give you the price..

I can see you are right about parker! Did you get locked into a price yet this year? I think I am not going to need to buy any more propane . My old tank is a 40% and have not taped into my 1000 gallon tank yet. Pluss I still have my 200 bags of pellets Whitch I do not want to start using tim med December. going to burn just wood till 12/15/2008

I think you just saved me over 400 Dollars. What do you think about getting a small stihl ms170 or a ms180?
