Nice looking install. Really like the wall.

CTBurner,

Very nice. I live in NE CT. Were did you get the flag stones? What is the name of the stone? Do you know how much it cost per SQFT?

Beautiful stove! Just out of curiosity, why did you have to put in a 2 flue chimney?

WE had 1 flue but it was in bad shape and the furnace was tied in to it. needed to relace anyway so we did 2 flues to have the stove

Wow, that's a very appealing hearth. Nice and massive. One of the best installations I've seen here!

Bluestone hearth came from UBS builders supply in Westerly , R.I. I do not know cost of the blue stone but it is not too bad. the stne wall is granit and is about 12 dollars per sq. ft

That is outstanding.. very nice look all around.. makes me think about setting up something like that one day in my living room which has no existing fireplace..

Very nice install. I miss my freestanding stove so much. Love the stone work.....looks like great room to hang out.

I really admire the work done here. Did you DIY? or hire a pro?

All Chimney work was done by CHIMNEYWORKS http://www.chimneyworksct.com/ If you need Masons or chimney work these are the ones to get here in S.E. CT. They are very professional and strive to please the customer, They are the best company we have ever worked with and we were more than satified

Now that's just slick

:) thanks

That looks wonderful, totally a pro installation and nice choice of stone.

Are you noticing a lot of heat absorbed from the stone mass and then re-radiated from it as the fire dies down?

My hinney wants to have a seat on that awesome stone after coming in from snow blowing the driveway...if I could chase away the pets. Super nice job.
