I watched one of those wood processors work - it put a cord of wood on the truck in 11 minutes.
The guy who owns it admits to 1200 cord per year.

Greatly disappointed. It doesn't stack, season and deliver!

I was thinking about the 'what no stacking?' part myself. But, that would be seasoned wood coming out the end according to some firewood guys! I guess it would work great as long as you have perfectly straight, uniform diameter logs - though I've got some gnarly pieces setting by the splitter right now that would probably stop it dead in its tracks.

The one my buddy has- ---50k & it takes some pretty gnarly pieces right through it. That looked like Birch in that video, we habe a lot of maple, oak , cherry, etc here. And some ash thak goodnes

Only problem I have with these is.....most if not all the oak I get is 30+ inches across. The wood in these videos is small in comparison.

Nice, but, but... I'm with the commenter who said "now take away the birch and feed it some elm".

For a pro who's processing wood from a uniform-growth farm, though... very nice. All the better to lower the cost of firewood split and stacked on the truck!
