OK ,I'LL start this one off:

You know you are a PELLET PIG when you move your new 2008 car out of the garage & leave it parked in the driveway, permanently, so you can fill the garage with 12 tons of pellets.

When you stick another two tons of pellets in the basement , even though you have to move each bag by hand down those steep & narrow stairs.

When you fill up your motor home or travel trailer with bags of pellets.

When you fill the trunk & the back seats of your second "old" car full of pellets.

When you take out the back seats of your old car to make room for more pellets.

When the tires on your second car look flat, even though they have 36 psi in them, you have too many pellets!!!!!!

Is there such a thing as too many pellets???? only when they threaten to fall through the floor into the basement or flatten the suspension & blow the tires of your second car.

Seriously now, you have to stop buying pellets and keep some money for food, too , you know!!! ;-P

When anything pelletized catches your eye, regardless of what and where it is (humm, wonder if that would burn?). By the way, refuse horse food does....

eernest4 you goofed on the thread title.
It should read "You know you are a pellet pig when..."

errnest 4 --60 bags of pellets--in the trunks of 6 various "old" cars!!!! none of which run, so I couldn't care less about the shocks & springs.
2 bags of pellets in the house.

After being cut off from any pellets for over 3 weeks, home depot finally got pellets in for 1/2 of a day. They had 22 tons come in at 10 am & were sold out at 6pm, at 5.99 /bag

I had 10 bags that were left over from winter 2007 & i just bought one ton, which I might add,
was not easy to move in a honda civic.

For starters , even though the car would phisically fit 35 bags, (its a hatchback) it could only take 25 bags = 1000 lbs & me =1150lbs, total , so I had to make two trips.

Now that I have 60 bags, I am set for the winter.

So, oink oink!!! :p

Welcome back.

Now go to the store and get some pellets.

Eric

Driving to Mass. on business and thinking where I can buy Pellets to bring home to New Jersey. :-S

Try Spaulding Fence in Worcester. They have NE Pellets available.

I've been looking for Hammers Hot in the Mass area......anyone who has seen them chime in!! TX!

...when come christmas, for the life of you, you can't think of anything better to get your friends and family than 10 bags of pellets.

...when come christmas, all you want from your friends and family are bags of pellets.

...every time a friend walks up to you they put up a hand and say "I don't care how many gallons of oil a bag of pellets saves!".

Pellets for Christmas gifts--- LOL, good one. I already know just who to give a bag of pellets for christmas to, Too!!!

.......you actually sit and think "am I SURE there isn't any farm supply, home center, hardware store, stove shop, Wally Mart, Kay Mart, or lumber yard that I haven't called looking for pellets ????? (and you do this every day)

BTW, welcome back eernest4...we all knew it was just a matter of time........hey, you bought a TON of pellets???? OINK OINK OINK

You know your a PELLET PIG when :

You have 30 empty PELLET BAGS full of wood spliters for kindling for your wood stove from busting up PELLET pallets in your drive way with a sledge hammer .

when you buy a special ash vac for $300.oo just to clean out your pellet stove with.

when you have stray pellets & saw dust all over the floor.

when you keep a 4 inch wide roll of shipping tape handy ,just to patch the holes in the plastic pellet bags with so that you can keep the pellet particles & saw dust off the floor!

All you friends say" Yes Larry, we already saw your pellet stove, Twice!!!

Your yard is littered with empty plastic pellet bags because it was windy out!

You buy two boxes of rutland fire starter cubes even though your pellet stove has auto ignition
that works just fine, at least for now.

You buy extra combustion fan motor housing gaskets, just in case the combustion fan chamber gets clogged up with soot from burning too many pellets. This gives you yet another chance to use your nice new shiny ash vacuum, yet again!

You buy a special flue brush sized just for 3 inch pellet flues.

You keep a $90.oo spair ignitor on hand, just in case. as well as a spair motherboard for the stoves computer! :p ;-P

You kick you dog out of the dog house , just to make room to hoard 4 more bags of pellets!

You build a custom 12 foot x 12 ft locking yard shed so that you can hoard another 12 tons on top of the 12 tons you already have!!!

You think that These pellets are really great stuff.
They never wear out, no mater how long you store them ,just so long as you keep them high & dry.
And you can even forget about the high part and just keep them dry!

Quick,I gotta buy more, before they go up, yet again !!!

You want to be PELLET PIGS?? NO PROBLEMO!!! I just didn't realize that I started a cult!!

PELLET PIGS RULE WHILE ALL THE OTHERS DROOL!!!
(ie: have you seen the 18 tons of pellets in my two car garage yet?) I've got almost enough for the first half of the winter!! Just another 10 tons will do me until spring, if I can only conserve just a little bit; but those flames look sooo pretty on high feed rate & max air intake!!
it just makes me feel all warm & toasty all over & ready for a long nap(all night) in front of the pellet stove!!! The heck with TV , lets just watch the yellowish-white flames dance!!! :p  ;-P

you seem angry...........

Not at all, I'm just trying to have a little fun.

Sometimes this room seems just so depressing,

(probably because I get depressed ocasionally).

ie: my this just broke & my that, just broke & how do i fix this.
Post after post after post, over & over.
Try clicking on the go backwards numbers to read past post titles & it is all help! my whatsyoumaycallit gets to hot ,or wont get hot or looks funny or wont fit or smells like a camp fire.

Seems that my life just consists of short intervals between repair jobs.

Of course ,on the bright side,i have saved at least $250,000 in repairs that I did myself in the past 50 years & i am not even counting all the repairs that i did before I was 10 years old!!!

In the name of comic relief:

You know you are a pellet pig when you kick your 8 year old daughter out of her play house in the back yard , just so that you can put another 3 tons of pellets in it, since your basement, spair car, dog house, garage, guest room, travel trailer, motor coach & home office are already all full of pellet bags!!!

You know............ when you start seriously considering leaving a pallet full of pellets out in the yard with a camoflauge tarp and some small brush limbs over them & hoping that you can use them all before some one spots them & comes back with a pick up truck to steal them because everthing else on the property is alraedy full to the gills with pellets.

And finally, you are sure that you are a major pellet pig when their are little paths between rooms, almost 3 feet wide , so that you can get around the house, between stacks of pellets
reaching the cieling.

When your next overriding concern is where you can possibly keep more pellets after filling up all of the above!

eernst4... No need to worry if you have filled all those other areas up. It is time to expand. Start looking at what your neighbor has to offer, hmmm? I'll bet they won't even notice your pellets in their shed until they can't figure out why their lawn tractor, shovels, rakes, etc. are all out leaning against the shed :)

oh my gaug! rotflmfao!!!!
So glad I didn't have a cup of coffee when I read that one!! :p

Now I can face the day with a smile!

When you back the truck up to the front door with a pallet of pellets and haul in a 30 day supply into the wife's office when she is at work, it's the closest space to the Pellet Stove ;)

When you keep 5 tons of shi@#$ pellets cause you want to stay top Pellet Pig in the neighborhood :red: Muss
