The flue is going to be just under the top of the opening. Probably about 4 inches below it straight out the wall.
 
It is totally non-combustable material, so there really isn't any clearance issue. If the fireplace had been made out of wood or drywall I'd have to be 30 inches below it.

Looks like you'll be warm pretty soon. When's the expected launch date?
 
The install date is December 6... so far away! Especially given the temps here in New England right now!
 
or I guess prep for the install would be more accurate.

I have been thinking of putting a cultured stone facade behind my Oslo, I really love that look.
 
Makes me wish I had sprung for the enamel. It looks really sweet.
