Not to be a pain, but....why?

Why would you want to let the temperature fluctuate over such a large range?

sure is , lux makes one $30.oo at lowes
i have one one on my castile works perfect
and it will do what you mentioned above

I just installed a Lux TX9000TS touch screen programmable on my Quadra-Fire Castile. It has an adjustable swing of up to 2.25 degrees. The t-stat will call for heat at 2.25 degrees below the set value and shut down 2.25 degrees above. Set it to 63 with a 2.25 swing and it's pretty much what you're looking for. Purchased on eBay for around $50.

Almost every thermostat can do that. It's called something along the lines of a differential. You set the stat for 60* program the differential for 5* and presto.

Maybe less ignition cycles? I keep mine on a 4 degree swing for that reason.

The Quadra-Fire stoves will shut down when the t-stat stops calling for heat. The unit will stop feeding pellets and the blowers will run for about 20min at which point the stove shuts off completely. When the t-stat calls for heat again, after the room temp drops back by the swing value, the unit will drop pellets, turn on the blower fan, and heat the igniter. Once the pellets catch and the unit runs up to a certain temp the convection blower starts and it pumps out heat running the t-stat back to the cut-off. Mine shut down about 7pm and with the 4 degree swing around the set value of 70 it stayed off for about 2.5 hours and It's is 25 degrees outside my drafty old house. The shutdown gave me some time to clean the burn-pot.
