I recently received my Tarm 30 and am in the design/install phase. I was planning on hooking up the overheat zone to my largest existing zone. Can the overheat aquastat be hooked up directly to the zone valve for that zone? Will there be any electrical issues in the unlikely event that both the thermostat for that zone and the the overheat aquastat open that zone and turn on the circulator at the same time? I really don't think so, but just want to see if anyone else has done it that way. Thanks. Mfsard

generally the thermostat controls the zone valve and the zone valve turns the pump on. You could have the t-stat OR the aquastat turn on the zone valve, and the pump operation will be unaffected.
