Harman P38 pellet stove problem..........

First of all I love this stove.I would recommend this stove to anyone.But,I have a small house and sometimes it just heats TOO much. I cannot turn it down below the 1/2 way mark or it goes out.I wish I could do a low/small burn and turn it down to 2 or 3 for a small fire but it goes out.
Any suggestions? Does anyone with this stove have the same issue?
 
I tried that last night and experimented with that and the fire went out twice even on the lowest air blower setting.
I just tried again. It seems that the lowest setting I can go is 4 and the blower in an estimate setting of 1(there are no numbers).
Any lower and the fire goes out because the auger stops feeding or moves/cycles with such a long time between that it does not provide enough pellets.
So the fire goes out. Is there an adjustment on the electrical board?

My fire went out once but not since I adjusted the low draft . (user manual on page 18) I normally run my stove on #1-#3 setting.
Not sure if it will help your situation but it might be worth a try. I don`t know of any other adjustment on this stove.
FWIW , at # 1 setting my auger turns for 6-7 seconds each minute. At # 2 it turns for 11 seconds.
If the draft is too strong it will probably blow out a low flame and cause hard starting.

Mike , time the auger on #1 setting to see if it matches mine (6-7 seconds)

Mine runs for 30 seconds at the #4 setting.
Is your exhaust probe clean? It`s also quite possible it needs replacing .From what I can gather it seems that replacement of the exhaust probe is a common fix.
 
So on yours on the 4 setting the auger starts to turn every 30 seconds but how long does it run for?
My probe is clean and my pipes are clean too.

On my stove the auger turns / feeds pellets for 30 sec and is off for 30 sec and the flame is very high and the stove puts out mucho heat.
 
mine behaves like that in turbo mode, but then slows right down after a few moments
 
I managed to get it down to 3 1/2 feed setting and the fan/blower almost off.
At this setting I got 48 seconds auger off and then 12 seconds auger on.
It is still on and fire is medium sized.
